We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Support Engineer to provide day-to-day technical support across the organisation. This role focuses on Microsoft 365 administration, desktop support, and basic networking, ensuring smooth IT operations for our London office and remote users. You will also support ATP meetings and events, including travelling to locations internationally where Audio-Visual (AV) setup and technical assistance are required.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Microsoft 365 Administration
- Manage user accounts, groups, and licences in Microsoft 365 Admin Centre.
- Configure and enforce MFA, manage Teams permissions.
- Follow and monitor security compliance.
- Administer Azure Active Directory for identity and access management.
- Enrol and manage devices using Microsoft Intune (policies, compliance, app deployment).
- Support conditional access and security configurations.
- Deploy and maintain Sophos Endpoint Protection across all devices.
- Monitor and respond to endpoint security alerts.
- Ensure compliance with organisational security standards.
- End-User & Desktop Support
- Set up and configure laptops/desktops for new starters.
- Troubleshoot Windows OS, Office applications, printers, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot Mac OS, Office applications, printers, and peripherals.
- Provide support for Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and other productivity tools.
- Networking & Connectivity
- Diagnose LAN/Wi-Fi connectivity issues.
- Basic understanding of IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configurations.
- System & Application Support
- Assist with system monitoring, application support and ticket resolution.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
- Event & AV Support
- Travel to ATP meetings and events as required.
- Provide AV setup and technical support for presentations and conferences.
- Ensure smooth operation of audio, video, and connectivity during events.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience handling a broad range of 1st and 2nd line support issues, including escalation, troubleshooting, and resolution.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows OS/Mac OS, and Active Directory.
- Experience with Azure, Entra and Intune for device and user management.
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Experience with ticketing systems, ITSM, (e.g. Jira) and remote support tools.
- Ability to travel for meetings and events (UK/international).
Preferred Qualifications
- Security awareness and experience with MFA and endpoint protection.
- Exposure to Azure and other cloud environments.
- Experience with AV equipment and conferencing tools.
Work Arrangement
Hybrid role: 2–3 days per week on-site in Wimbledon - London office, remainder remote. Occasional travel to other ATP offices (located in Monte Carlo, United States and Australia), and ATP event locations.
