You will be responsible for the maintenance and servicing of a wide range of 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC and manual lathes, mills and turning machines. Some of these CNC machines produce components to a tolerance of 10 microns, so your expertise and attention to detail is vital.

Their machines include DMG Morri 3/4/5 axis, Stars sliding head lathe, Herco and XYZ Lathes. You will be managing PPM schedules, undertaking preventative maintenance and responding to unexpected breakdowns to ensure production and quality targets are met.

Your hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 4.45pm (12.00 midday finish on Friday), so no night shifts or weekends. There is, however, plenty of overtime and a bonus. This company is busy with a full order book.

After the CNC machines have been repaired, calibration testing will include an electrical safety check, so you ideally need a City & Guilds 18th Edition Electrical Installations. Training and certification are also available.
