Role Purpose: Reporting to ATP Media’s staff Director, the VT Co-ordinator’s primary responsibility is to manage the VT area at our Remote Production Hub, co-ordinating the replays for match coverage of the 9 ATP Masters 1000s Tournaments. The VT coordinator will be central in developing our team of EVS operators in order to provide the best possible replay coverage. The VT Co-ordinator will be responsible for reporting on all technical elements of the VT area. The VT Co-ordinator will have in-depth experience of live sport broadcasting and should be at their most comfortable in a live environment. This role offers the potential to become a match director for the right candidate who excels at VT and demonstrates ability to direct, enthusiasm, and a strong willingness to learn. In addition to the VT Co-ordinating, this role also requires the candidate to produce circa 6 ATP 250s tournaments per season. The 250s Role includes producing commentators, graphics operators, audio mixing, cutting highlights on simply live, speaking to world feed broadcasters and liaising with a host broadcaster from our remote production hub at ATP Media Studios in West London. For this reason, a thorough understanding of end-to-end television production is required. The role will support other areas of the department where required, for example, prepping and producing edits and contributing to editorial ideation.
Duties and Key Responsibilities:
- ATP 1000s Live VT Co-ordinating:
- Co-ordinating the live replays of the tennis match coverage across the 9 ATP Tour Masters 1000s tournaments
- Managing the VT department across the ATP Masters 1000s tournaments, including building relationships with the facilities provider
- Producing Post Tournament reports to senior members of production team
- Help develop our team of EVS operators, identifying and nurturing new talent across 4 main courts
- Work alongside our team of experienced Directors in improving the overall match coverage, offering input on EVS setup and camera positions where appropriate
- ATP 250s Producing:
- Overall oversight and responsibility for the quality of the production output
- Managing and producing the commentary team in the production hub
- Overseeing and producing the graphics insertion on the matches
- Use of Simply Live’s Vibox for adding graphics, commentary and editing content
- Basic editing of match feeds using the ViBox to produce short highlight packages and social media content
- Uploading video content and documents to the Media Portal
- Communicating with ATP Media’s onsite Broadcast Venue Manager regarding all aspects of a tournaments production as and when needed
- Other Key Responsibilities:
- Working with Senior Edit Producer to create threads and VT Inserts for the World Feed
- Supporting the wider production team in the overall preparation and management of ATP 250s, ATP 500s and ATP Masters 1000 tournaments
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years VT Co-ording live sport
- Varied experience of working in live OB and gallery environments
- Experience working to tight deadlines and under pressure
- Experience in writing EVS configurations
Desirable experience:
- Good knowledge of tennis and passion for live sports broadcasting
- Broad understanding of television workflows
- Technical knowledge of EVS workflows
- Knowledge and prior use of ViBox and gallery desk preferable (training can be provided)
- Experience working with a host broadcaster
- Experience in producing commentators and graphics operators
- Experience working in an edit suite
- Experience working with Premiere Pro, IP Director

Working Hours: Mon – Fri 9am to 5.00pm plus evenings and weekends in line with tournaments. Please note some tournaments will require working overnights due to different time zones. Flexible working and time off in lieu for weekends worked are part of ATP Media’s company policy.
