ATP Media is the broadcast and media arm of the ATP Tour. The company manages the production, distribution, and commercial exploitation of the broadcast rights of the ATP Masters 1000 and Nitto ATP Finals tennis tournaments as well as the ATP 500 events, ATP 250s and the ATP Next Gen Finals. Additionally, ATP Media produces and distributes Original Programming, Non-Live Content β including social, digital, branded content and linear β for both its media partners, the ATP Tour and Masters 1000s tournaments. The company also owns and operates Tennis TV, the official live video streaming subscription service of the ATP Tour.
ATP Media are looking for a creative and ambitious social-first editor to deliver Non-live and Original Content. This role is a perfect fit for someone with experience across social, digital and broadcast video, but who truly excels in social-first, super-engaging content. You will be required to work a variety of briefs and objectives from the ATP Tour. Projects will vary in scope and format, requiring expertise in all aspects of editing including (but not limited to) short-form, long-form, Linear TV, Digital, motion graphics, sound design, colour grading and exports. Social-first will be the priority of these.
The successful candidate will be a crucial member of the team, working alongside producers and the Creative Director to deliver best-in-class video content for ATP Media, the ATP Tour and its affiliates.
Key Responsibilities- Working on edits from concept through to delivery, across a broad range of styles to meet the creative requirements and to the highest quality.
- Demonstrate creative flair and passion for storytelling with high attention to detail.
- Work with senior production staff to maintain an overview of the creative and technical execution of videos being produced.
- Advise the wider team on accurate timings and processes when projects are being mapped out to ensure they assign the appropriate amount of edit time to each project.
- Execute strong workflows, driving efficiencies and finding solutions to help to avoid (or resolve) any post-production issues.
- Working with senior team members to maintain best-practice methods, striving for excellence.
- An ambitious and creative editor, who is passionate about making exciting non-live content.
- A candidate with experience as a staff video editor or trusted freelance editor.
- 3+ years of video editing experience: with a varied portfolio.
- Proven experience in editing high-level output, across a range of formats and styles.
- Highly creative editor who always strives to produce high-quality output.
- Good knowledge of content creation principles and story composition.
- Passion for pushing creative boundaries and achieving excellence in video content.
- You will have expert knowledge of video editing techniques with competence in motion graphics, grading and colour correction.
- Strong work ethic, always with a focus on the output.
- Excellent skills and knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Good knowledge of sound editing, sound design and sound mixing.
- Good knowledge of export formats including (but not limited to) split-track, mixed down, MXFs, Mp4s, MOVs.
- Methodical approach and immaculate project management.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
