Digital Application Services (DAS) delivers and supports the applications, platforms and digital capabilities that enable effective business operations. Within DAS, the Business Analysis and Customer Experience (BA & CX) team drives technology-enabled change across digital services.

We are looking for a strong Technical Business Analyst to work on complex digital and technology change. This role is suited to an experienced analyst who is equally comfortable working with business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, and who can translate business needs into clear, structured and actionable requirements for design, build, test and implementation.

You will take ownership of analysis across the full delivery lifecycle, from discovery and definition through to delivery support and continuous improvement. You will be expected to analyse processes, systems, integrations, APIs, data flows and business rules, and to produce high-quality artefacts that support solution design and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead analysis activities across discovery, design and delivery, bringing structure and clarity to complex business and technology change.
  • Elicit, analyse and document business, functional and non-functional requirements using appropriate techniques.
  • Translate business needs into clear user stories, epics, acceptance criteria, business rules and supporting artefacts.
  • Analyse end-to-end processes, customer journeys, system interactions and operational impacts to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Work closely with engineers, architects and solution designers to define system behaviour, integration points, interface requirements, API interactions and technical dependencies.
  • Produce and maintain high-quality technical analysis artefacts.
  • Support backlog refinement and prioritisation with Product Owners and delivery teams.
  • Assess change impacts across systems, processes, data and teams.
  • Work with test teams and stakeholders to support test scenario definition, validation, defect triage and solution acceptance.
  • Champion customer and colleague needs throughout analysis and delivery.
  • Collaborate effectively within agile multidisciplinary teams.
