About the CX Practice

Our team is forward-thinking in anticipating the future, and how we can adapt our roles and disciplines in an ever-changing spectrum across various mediums and influences with AI and Generational Design. It is an exciting time to be part of our team as we look to grow and forge a successful path with our existing and potential clients. You will be part of the wider CX Practice operating within the Design team that comprises of Researchers, UX Designers, Service Designers and Content Designers. We're a group of talented, expressive professionals, where you'll have the autonomy and trust to excel in your role.

Key Qualifications

  • Prior experiences working as a consultant.
  • Knowledge of, and approach to, working across public and private sectors.
  • Ability to mentor or lead clients appropriately while representing your consultancy with diplomacy.
  • Understanding of the life cycle of UX disciplines and methods across UCD.
  • Experience or understanding of Lean UX in an Agile environment.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing ability to design streamlined interfaces.

Responsibilities

  • Produce user flow journeys identifying potential and current bottlenecks.
  • Present findings into aesthetic infographics using visualisation of data.
  • Produce Customer mapping processes and solution documentation.
  • Share conceptual thinking and design ideas with the wider team.
  • Produce user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototype designs.
  • Conduct various kinds of design workshops with stakeholders and internal teams.
  • Stakeholder management.

Success Actions

  • Lead the design process with the project team, Product Owners & stakeholders.
  • Guide development teams through communication in producing brand/guidelines documentation.
  • Keep up to date on tech and UX trends in the industry.
  • Lead the development team output from discovery phase to final delivery process.
  • Confidently deal with stakeholders and Product Owners, justifying decisions through prototyping and research.
  • Make decisions independently and guide clients in the right direction.
  • Work collaboratively in an agile environment while balancing independent work.
  • Implement various Design frameworks and methods in an Agile delivery focused team.
  • Knowledge and implementation of WCAG, A11Y Accessibility standards.
  • Organise and chair UAT workshops, setting task lists for attendees.

Technology & Tools

  • Experience delivering AR/VR solutions.
  • Innovation in design and generational design regarding AI.
  • AI design-prompt tools.
  • GDS toolkit and service standards.

Portfolio Requirements

  • At least one project demonstrating the full UX lifecycle.
  • Progression of ideas formulating iteratively throughout designs.
  • Expertise in producing interactive prototypes.
  • Experience visualising data in a meaningful way.
  • Responsive design showcasing ability to design for all devices.
