About the Role
We are looking for an Operational Excellence Consultant with hands-on experience, who has a management consultancy background, working on complex business problems, ideally within a technology context. You should have the desire to be part of an organisation that develops and delivers innovative solutions to private and public-sector clients. You should have experience in how organisations are responding to the digital and AI agenda, and what this means for people, their roles and job transformation.
Location: Onsite (hybrid working across client site, Atos offices & remote)
Key Responsibilities
- Client Advisory: Experience of advising clients on how to improve their business’ operations, including cost reduction and automation
- Project Leadership: Lead consulting projects from inception to completion, ensuring milestones are met and deliverables are achieved
- Business Analysis & Business Process Mapping: Work with client stakeholders to understand, document, diagnose and transform their business processes and functions
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices
- Stakeholder Relationship Management: Excellent stakeholder relationship skills
- Project Management: Training in / experience of project management tools and techniques
- Client Engagement: Work autonomously with clients to understand their needs, develop tailored engagement strategies, and ensure successful implementation
- Team Development: Experience of developing teams to deliver consulting assignments for clients
- Business Development: Experience of contributing to the sale of work or extension of contracts
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject area
- Experience in the Consulting sector and in roles supporting or operational change
- Experience with collaboration tools and digital platforms (such as Microsoft, SAP, ServiceNow and Salesforce)
- Ability and willingness to rapidly develop skills while operating in a fast-paced environment
- Lean Six Sigma and/or Business Analysis certification

- Strong leading consultancy background: including on business analysis engagements
- UK mobility with regular client-site engagement
- Security clearance (SC / BPSS), or eligibility and willingness to obtain clearance
