Overview

In this role you design and present end-to-end infrastructure solutions for large enterprises, spanning mainframe, storage, data centre and virtualization, with AI-driven operations to enable automation and predictive management.

You’ll work with Sales, Portfolio and Delivery teams to define transformation programs modernising legacy environments while supporting sustainability goals.

You will engage with diverse clients, shaping market-ready architectures and influencing decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Design and present end-to-end infrastructure solutions across mainframe, storage, data centre and virtualization
  • Collaborate with Sales, Portfolio and Delivery teams to define transformation programs
  • Lead presales engagements and communicate complex architectures to senior stakeholders
  • Drive automation, orchestration and monitoring to enable intelligent infrastructure operations
  • Support modernization of legacy environments and hybrid/cloud-integrated architectures
  • Engage with clients across industries and work on diverse technologies and environments
  • Enable delivery of solutions that align with operational, sustainability, and business objectives
  • Offer opportunities to lead initiatives and influence decision-making
  • Key requirements
  • 7+ years of enterprise infrastructure architecture and implementation experience
  • Hands-on expertise in mainframe environments (z/OS, COBOL, JCL, middleware)
  • Experience with enterprise storage (SAN, NAS, object storage) and data centre modernization
  • Virtualization skills (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM) and hybrid/cloud architecture
  • Automation and monitoring using Service Now, Ansible, Terraform; AIOps tools (Dynatrace, Moogsoft, Splunk, IBM Instana)
  • Strong presales capabilities and ability to communicate with senior technical and business stakeholders
  • Degree-qualified in a technical, engineering, or computing discipline
  • Professional certifications (TOGAF, ITIL, VMware, IBM Mainframe, or equivalent) desirable
  • Effective communicator with senior stakeholders
