As a Configuration Manager, you'll be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of critical configuration data across complex IT environments. Your work ensures that systems, applications, and infrastructure remain controlled, auditable, and reliable.

• Become the Guardian of Service Integrity: Maintain the accuracy and integrity of critical configuration data.
• Influence Change and Reduce Operational Risk: Support Change, Incident, and Problem Management by ensuring configuration information is accurate and trusted.
• Work Across the Entire Technology Landscape: Collaborate with technical teams, service managers, and leadership while driving governance, compliance, and operational excellence.

Core Responsibilities:

• Identification: Categorize, track, and label configuration items (CIs) such as servers, software, documents, and infrastructure.
• Control: Baseline system parameters and rigorously control how changes are implemented.
• Status Accounting: Document and report the historical and current states of all items to ensure full traceability.
• Verification & Auditing: Conduct regular audits to ensure actual configurations match the authorized, recorded states.
• Compliance & Governance: Ensure technical documentation, software builds, and systems meet regulatory and organizational standards.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Database Management: High proficiency in structuring and maintaining complex Configuration Management Databases (CMDB).
• Tool Familiarity: Experience with version control and configuration tools.
• Cross-functional Leadership: Ability to act as a bridge between developers, quality assurance, system engineers, and executive stakeholders.
