About The Role
The Agent Maestro is responsible for transforming of operational processes across the Closed Book Pensions business through the adoption of Atos Agentic methodologies and intelligent automation.

The Agent Maestro will establish the standards, governance, operating model and execution framework required to transition manual and semi-automated pension administration processes into controlled, compliant, agent-driven services.
Operating within a highly regulated environment, the role will ensure all agentic solutions are designed with governance, risk management, auditability, customer protection and operational resilience embedded from inception.
The position acts as the bridge between business operations, technology, risk, compliance and customer governance functions, ensuring alignment with Atos principles of governance-by-design, operational accountability, controlled decision boundaries and human oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Agentic Transformation
- Define and own the Closed Book Pension Agentification Framework.
- Establish transformation roadmaps aligned to business strategy, customer outcomes, and regulatory obligations.
- Lead transformation initiatives from assessment through to production deployment.
- Identify, assess, and prioritise processes suitable for agentification.
- Deliver measurable improvements in productivity, quality, customer experience, and risk reduction.
- Analyse and redesign end-to-end pension administration processes.
- Create target-state operating models suitable for autonomous and semi-autonomous agent execution.
- Define human-agent interaction models, escalation paths, and control frameworks.
- Standardise operational procedures and eliminate unnecessary complexity.
- Establish governance frameworks for agentic operations.
- Ensure compliance with FCA Consumer Duty, Operational Resilience requirements, Data Protection regulations, and Treating Customers Fairly principles.
- Lead risk assessments and mitigation plans for transformation initiatives.
- Support audit, compliance, and assurance activities.
- Build Agentic Capability & Readiness
- Design and maintain an Agentic Model Office environment.
- Develop testing frameworks covering accuracy, resilience, compliance, business continuity, and customer outcomes.
- Define production readiness criteria and lead pilot rollouts.
- Establish standards for agent lifecycle management and performance monitoring.
- Influence Stakeholders & Deliver Benefits
- Partner with Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Data, and Service Delivery teams.
- Present business cases, transformation progress, and outcome metrics to senior stakeholders.
- Develop KPI and KRI frameworks and drive continuous improvement.
- Own benefits realisation and long-term adoption of agent-enabled services.
Skills We Can't Do Without
- Significant experience within pensions administration, life & pensions, or regulated financial services.
- Extensive business transformation and operating model design experience.
- Strong expertise in process re-engineering, Lean, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proven experience implementing automation, AI, or digital transformation solutions.
- Deep understanding of risk, governance, and regulatory compliance within FCA-regulated environments.
