The R&D Engineering Lead is a senior technical leader within the Global Service Now Portfolio organisation, reporting directly to the CTO / Portfolio Lead.
This role is responsible for driving engineering-led innovation, building next-generation accelerators, architecting cutting‑edge Gen AI and Agentic AI capabilities, and supporting the creation of differentiated IP for Atos’ global Service Now business.
The R&D Engineering Lead works collaboratively with Portfolio Directors and Value Engineering Directors to translate portfolio strategy and industry needs into high‑value engineering outputs—prototypes, accelerators, integrations, tools, and technical proofs-of-concept that strengthen Atos’ competitive edge.
This is a highly hands-on, innovation-focused leadership role that combines platform engineering excellence with strategic thinking and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strategic Impact

- R&D Strategy & Innovation Leadership
- Define and execute the R&D strategy to support portfolio roadmap, innovation priorities, and future investments.
- Identify emerging technologies, Service Now releases, and ecosystem opportunities to shape next-gen solutions.
- Partner with the CTO on strategic bets and long-term capability building.
- AI Engineering & Next-Generation Solutions
• Lead engineering design and development of

- Collaborate with Portfolio Directors to embed AI capabilities into global offerings.

- Validate technical feasibility of new portfolio ideas before commercialization.
- Partner with Alliance teams and Service Now for joint innovation Po Cs.
