As a Presales DevOps / DevSecOps Platform Architect, you will lead the design of enterprise engineering platforms that enable rapid, secure, and compliant software delivery. Working across solution, cloud, security, and application architecture teams, you will help customers establish modern platform engineering capabilities, automated delivery pipelines, cloud-native environments, and integrated security practices. This is a senior, customer-facing role requiring deep technical expertise, commercial awareness, and the ability to translate complex business and engineering requirements into scalable platform solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture of enterprise DevOps, DevSecOps, and Platform Engineering solutions.
- Design engineering platforms supporting cloud-native and hybrid delivery models.
- Define end-to-end CI/CD pipelines covering automated build, testing, security validation, deployment, and observability.
- Embed security, governance, and compliance controls throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Design Internal Developer Platforms that improve standardisation, automation, and developer productivity.
- Define Infrastructure as Code strategies using Terraform, Bicep, Ansible, Pulumi, or equivalent technologies.
- Architect container platforms using Kubernetes, OpenShift, AKS, EKS, GKE, or similar technologies.
- Lead customer workshops and contribute to technical bids, proposals, cost models, and executive presentations.
- Support the development of Atos DevOps, Platform Engineering, and Cloud-Native offerings and accelerators.
Skills and Experience
- At least seven years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or Solution Architecture roles.
- Strong experience designing enterprise CI/CD platforms using Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, GitLab, Jenkins, Argo CD, or equivalent technologies.
- Proven experience architecting secure DevSecOps pipelines and automated compliance frameworks.
- Deep knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and platform automation.
- Experience designing Kubernetes-based container platforms.
- Experience with observability technologies such as Datadog, Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, or Elastic.
- Experience supporting complex presales engagements and explaining technical solutions to senior business and technology stakeholders.

This role is UK-based and offers a remote working opportunity, with occasional UK domestic travel as required. The successful candidate should hold or be capable of obtaining Security Clearance to work with UK public sector organisations.
