Job Description
- We are seeking an experienced Designer / Lead Developer to join our Public Sector team.
- This is a long-term role focused on developing and supporting Ophthalmic systems, requiring someone who can work independently, lead small development teams, and build deep domain and system knowledge.
- The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on technical expertise, the ability to guide and mentor developers and testers, and a commitment to understanding complex healthcare systems vital to public sector operations.
Responsibilities
- Act as Lead Developer and technical designer, contributing to architecture, solution design, and hands-on implementation.
- Lead and coordinate a small team of developers and testers, ensuring quality delivery and adherence to best practices.
- Work independently to analyse, design, develop, and enhance Ophthalmic system components.
- Build and maintain long-term domain knowledge of Ophthalmic workflows, business rules, and system integrations.
- Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, and stakeholders to refine requirements and drive technical decisions.
- Ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance through reviews, refactoring, and standards enforcement.
- Support CI/CD processes using tools such as Jenkins and Git.
- Provide technical troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and production support where required.
