As part of our Financial Services sales team, this role provides a unique opportunity to drive growth within the Building Society sector. You will be responsible for creating and converting new opportunities across UK Building Societies by helping these organizations navigate digital transformation, customer experience modernization, operational resilience, cybersecurity, cloud adoption, AI enablement, and regulatory change.
You will identify whitespace opportunities, build trusted relationships with senior executives, and position Atos as the strategic transformation partner of choice. Working closely with industry specialists, delivery teams, and technology partners, you will help Building Societies modernize legacy environments while supporting their customer-first and community-focused missions. Technology Services remains a key driver of our UK growth strategy, and you will be supported by deep industry expertise and technical capabilities to deliver scalable, future-ready solutions on the enterprise scale.
What You Will Be Doing
- Driving Growth & Market Presence: Build and convert a strong pipeline within the Building Society sector, identifying new logo opportunities and expanding Atos' footprint across existing clients. Develop market presence through industry engagement, networking, and relationship building with sector stakeholders.
- Sector Relationship Development: Develop and maintain strong relationships across the Building Society ecosystem, including executives, industry bodies, technology partners, and transformation leaders. Build a trusted network that creates long-term business opportunities.
- Client Engagement: Understand the strategic priorities facing Building Societies, including customer experience transformation, digital channels, operational efficiency, ESG objectives, cybersecurity, resilience, and regulatory compliance. Translate these challenges into outcome-driven business solutions.
- Sales Leadership: Originate and win professional services, consulting, and technology transformation engagements while consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Opportunity Ownership: Take full accountability for the entire sales lifecycle, from opportunity creation and qualification through proposal development, commercial negotiation, and closure.
- Executive Influence: Lead presentations, workshops, and strategic discussions with C-level and senior stakeholders, positioning Atos as a trusted advisor and transformation partner.
Requirements
- Sales & Market Development: Proven success in originating and winning opportunities within Financial Services, with particular experience selling into Building Societies, Retail Banking, Mutuals, Lending, or Mortgage organizations.
- Building Society & Banking Knowledge: Strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing Building Societies, including digital transformation, member experience, regulatory compliance, operational resilience, lending modernization, data, cloud, and cybersecurity.
- Strategic Relationship Building: Proven ability to build long-term executive relationships and become a trusted advisor to senior business and technology stakeholders.
- New Business Mindset: Highly motivated hunter capable of identifying whitespace opportunities, generating demand, and developing new client relationships from the ground up.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial awareness with the ability to align technology-led solutions to business outcomes and measurable value.
- Client Engagement & Influence: Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage and influence senior executives across technology, operations, customer, and business functions.
- Accountability & Delivery: Demonstrable experience owning the full sales lifecycle and operating effectively within complex sales environments involving multiple stakeholders and long sales cycles.
- Collaborative Leadership: Experience leading virtual pursuit teams and working closely with consulting, delivery, partner, and solution specialists to develop winning propositions.
