Role Specification and Work Environment: We are seeking a PLM Technical Consultant to perform deployment, upgrade, and configuration tasks. This client-facing role involves collaboration with system integrators and effective communication within the project team. The candidate should be able to work independently when required.
Location: The role is based in Bristol at a secure site, supporting a UK defense project. Opportunities exist to work on projects in secure and cloud environments across the UKI PLM team for global companies.
Must Criteria:
- A UK National eligible to work in the UK
- Eligible for and able to maintain a UK Government Security Check (DV) clearance
Responsibilities:
- Join project delivery teams, working with Project Managers and PLM Architects to deploy solutions
- Implement solutions according to customer requirements, including installation, configuration, and testing
- Create and maintain project documentation, including build and design specifications
- Travel within the UK and Europe as needed
Requirements:
- Experience in deploying, upgrading, and configuring solutions in consulting environments
- Installation experience with Teamcenter Environment Manager (TEM), including high-availability, clustering, and security
- Troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve technical issues
- Experience with application administration such as Workflow, Access Manager, Query Builder, and PLMXML
- Configuration experience with utilities and familiarity with IPS data upload is advantageous
- Scripting skills in PERL, PowerShell, or Linux Shell
- Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math)
