You will take ownership of analysis across the full delivery lifecycle, from discovery and definition through to delivery support and continuous improvement. - Elicit, analyse and document business, functional and non-functional requirements using appropriate techniques.
- Translate business needs into clear user stories, epics, acceptance criteria, business rules and supporting artefacts.
- Analyse end-to-end processes, customer journeys, system interactions and operational impacts to identify improvement opportunities.
- Work closely with engineers, architects and solution designers to define system behaviour, integration points, interface requirements, API interactions and technical dependencies.
- Produce and maintain high-quality technical analysis artefacts including process models, data mappings, source-to-target mappings, sequence diagrams, logical flows and traceability documentation.
- Support backlog refinement and prioritisation with Product Owners and delivery teams.
- Assess change impacts across systems, processes, data and teams, identifying risks, assumptions, constraints and dependencies.
- Work with test teams and stakeholders to support test scenario definition, validation, defect triage and solution acceptance.
- Champion customer and colleague needs throughout analysis and delivery.
- Collaborate effectively within agile multidisciplinary teams and contribute to continuous improvement in analysis standards.
Skills and experience we can’t do without:
- Significant experience working as a Technical Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst in complex technology delivery environments.
- Proven ability to elicit, analyse and document business, functional and non-functional requirements.
- Strong experience analysing APIs, integrations, interfaces, system interactions, integration patterns and technical dependencies.
- Hands-on experience working with data mapping, data flows, with the ability to write or interpret SQL queries.
- Ability to produce clear, structured documentation including process models, process flows, workflow diagrams, sequence diagrams, data flows, business rules and other supporting design artefacts.
- Proven ability to assess change impacts across processes, systems, integrations, data, teams and customers.
- Proven experience working in agile multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, communication and influencing skills.
- Strong analytical thinking, structured problem-solving and the ability to manage ambiguity.
- Practical experience using analysis and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Draw.io or equivalent.
- SC cleared or eligible to obtain SC clearance.
