The vacancy is in Application Operations (AppOps) which sits within Cloud and Modern Infrastructure (C&MI). Cloud & Modern Infrastructure focuses on modernising and managing IT infrastructure across hybrid environments enabling organisations to integrate private, public, and sovereign cloud solutions while ensuring security, resilience, and cost optimisation. Application Operations ensures the smooth and secure functioning of enterprise applications through end-to-end management of middleware, databases, and application servers.

Skills we can't do without:
  • Proficiency in C# and SQL Server (including SQL scripting)
  • Experience with frameworks such as Core and Blazor
  • Strong customer-facing experience including working directly with end users and demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Skills we'd like:
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services such as App Services, Function Apps, and Monitor / App Insights
  • Experience with GitHub and Azure DevOps for version control and CI / CD workflows
  • Knowledge of relational databases like MySQL, MSSQL, or Oracle
  • Strong knowledge of PowerShell scripting and Windows Server environments

This role is UK-based and offers a remote working opportunity with occasional UK domestic travel as required. The successful candidate should hold or be capable of obtaining BPSS clearance to work with UK public sector organisations.
