The role is a consulting-led position for a senior data scientist within the Insight practice, working at the intersection of advanced analytics, AI innovation, and strategic consulting for public sector and enterprise clients.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with clients and stakeholders to understand business objectives, identify high-value AI and analytics use cases, and define clear success measures.
  • Design, prototype, validate, and deliver end-to-end data science and AI solutions, from discovery through to production.
  • Develop and evaluate statistical models, machine learning systems, and Generative AI solutions, including LLM-based and RAG-enabled approaches.
  • Support the operationalisation of models and AI solutions, including deployment, monitoring, governance, and lifecycle management.
  • Translate complex analytical outputs into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Contribute to responsible and ethical AI adoption by identifying and mitigating risks related to privacy, security, and safety.
  • Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to reusable accelerators, best practices, and Insight capability development.
