About the role

You’ll lead a team, support a high-performing Financial Planner, and play a key role in delivering exceptional service to clients.

Accountabilities

  • Be the Go-To: Act as the escalation point for complex queries and provide clear, proactive solutions.

  • Client-Facing Impact: Prepare high-quality documentation for client meetings and communicate directly with clients to resolve queries.

  • Operational Excellence: Process new business applications, liaise with providers, and navigate platforms with confidence.

  • Lead & Inspire: Manage and mentor a team of 2 Client Administrators, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.

  • Drive Performance: Use data to monitor accuracy, performance, and service levels, ensuring the team consistently delivers excellence.
    Skills and Experience

  • 4+ years experience in a senior admin support role, including supervising or managing a team within Wealth Management, Financial Planning, or an IFA firm.

  • Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, mortgages, and protection.

  • A natural communicator and organiser who thrives on developing people and delivering results.

  • Confident with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and analytical thinking.

  • Confidence managing workflow and coaching others

  • Experience with Xplan or similar systems
