This job starts 3rd August. Excellent opportunity for an early career professional to move into HR. You’ve either graduated in the last 2 years or taken an alternative route; the common trait of applicants we will speak to is that you want to be excellent at something. You need to be smart, curious, and competitive to excel in what you do. You should have hobbies or interests outside of work and good social skills.

This role is 50% HR admin and 50% leading on key recruitment initiatives, with career sponsorship from the Chief People Officer to become an HR Business Partner within 2 years. I will train you to grow into an HR Business Partner role within 2 years, but there is a lot of hard work to get there. The ideal person is naturally bright, gets on well with people, is a self-learner, and wants to succeed.

Recruitment at Atomos means finding the best of the best and moving fast. This is a great role for someone at the early stage of their career to learn commercial HR. 50% of this role is recruitment, and 50% is administration; however, the value you deliver is judged via the recruitment side of the role. You will coordinate recruitment, phone-screen candidates, and support the HR team with administrative activities. We pride ourselves on a high-end tech stack, and you will also be expected to contribute ideas on how to automate HR admin in a way that improves the employee experience.

Accountabilities:

  • Coordinate candidates for interviewing.
  • Phone-screen candidates for culture fit and identify who the high performers are.
  • Create compelling job adverts to attract high-performing candidates.
  • Administration of employment contracts and new joiners.
  • Curious about how to use our recruitment and HR systems to improve the employee experience.
  • Manage the onboarding journey for new joiners.
  • Ensure candidates are fully screened via our outsourced provider and flag concerns to the Chief People Officer.
  • Support Chief People Officer routine tasks such as assessment reviews, Culture Club, and Data Dashboards.
  • Deliver ad-hoc projects as assigned by the Chief People Officer.

Skills:

  • 1 year in an office environment (apprenticeship, placement year, or previous work experience).
  • Excellent verbal communication; you like listening and can describe things vividly.
  • Excellent command of verbal and written English; you must be able to adjust the tone of job adverts to suit the audience.
  • AI literate to solve problems.
  • Pro-active, not content with things not being better, will contribute numerous ideas to solve pragmatic problems.
  • A preference for learning by getting involved.
  • Commercially savvy, realising HR aims for a win-win between business needs and employee wants.
  • Hyper-organised, able to work on a range of projects, and understand sometimes you have to put extra work in to hit your deadlines.
  • Happy to attend the office 4 days per week.
  • Sense of humour.
