An opportunity for someone with 2 years in their career who wants to step up into this job and will be ready to step up again within 2 years. You bring a mindset that thinks in terms of process, systems, and frameworks, have attention to detail, and like getting things done. The key traits we are looking for are someone with high drive, an agile mind, and an interest in how financial services work. We need someone with experience in Financial Services or accountancy, or similar. You do not need to have worked in our exact sector; you just need to be able to understand it quickly.
This role sits within our Compliance function and will open the ability to progress within that career path. We have a Compliance Monitoring team which operates similarly to internal audit but focuses on alignment to regulatory needs. You will review how the business carries out key control processes, understand how the business adheres to them, and provide problem-solving on how we can get better. If you are capable of understanding processes, able to engage with stakeholders, unphased by data, and know how to focus on what matters, this might be the role for you. Compliance is a high-profile part of any Financial Services firm; we can teach you the FCA requirements, so this is a great move into a high-profile part of the business.
