Responsibilities include delivering the T Level Engineering and the single AAQ Engineering qualification. You will motivate, enthuse, and challenge students to produce the highest quality work and effectively assess, record, and track student progress.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Must hold a degree (or equivalent) in a related subject and have teaching experience gained either in a school or college setting.
- Demonstrable high levels of skill in leading teaching and learning are essential, along with strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to working with students from a range of different backgrounds is also required.
- Practical experience in engineering workshop environments (including fabrication, welding, casting, milling, turning, and CNC/manual machining) is particularly encouraged.
- Applications will be welcomed from both NQTs and experienced teachers.
The role is a full-time contract equating to 24 hours of contact time per week.
Salary: SFCA Teachers Pay Spine up to £51,714 per annum pro rata, depending on experience.
