Learning Support Assistants

Atomix Educational Trust is a dynamic, forward‑thinking multi‑academy trust delivering exceptional education across our family of schools whilst providing comprehensive corporate training solutions.

Up to 33.75 hours per week, part‑time, term time only, on a permanent contract. Salary for a 33.75‑hour week on spine point 6 is £19,940.63 per annum.

Responsibilities

  • Work with students aged 16‑18 with EHCP or High‑Needs funding studying from entry level to level 3.
  • Provide in‑class and independent study support.
  • Work individually or in small groups with students, delivering literacy and numeracy support.
  • Support students on a one‑to‑one or group basis, understanding their learning needs and empathy for learning difficulties and disabilities.

Qualifications

  • Recognised Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • Experience delivering literacy and numeracy support to students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities.
  • Strong understanding of the needs of students with EHCP or High‑Needs funding.
  • Hours & Location

Hours: Monday to Friday 08:45–16:00; part‑time hours considered. Preferred location: Guisborough or Stockton (please state your preference in your application).
