Atominvest is the operating system for modern private markets asset managers. Our modular, flexible SaaS technology underpins key investor- and portfolio-management workflows. Our customers are sophisticated private equity, growth equity, and private credit firms managing billions in assets globally. We aim to deliver ongoing high-quality outcomes for them through a long-term partnership mindset.

At Atominvest, you’ll be working on something very exciting: the future of work, investments and sustainability/ethical investing for the world’s best investors and delivering a positive impact through this. Based on the growth we are experiencing, we think we’re on to something big. It won’t be easy. Joining a scale-up business is an amazing and rewarding challenge, pushing well beyond the boundaries of natural growth cycles. You’ll move quicker than feels comfortable and be brilliant at continually re-prioritising what must get done to keep Atominvest growing year over year at the pace of the best SaaS companies on the planet.

About the role:

This is a hybrid technical role: roughly 60% solutioning and implementation and 40% improving Atominvest’s technical-product capabilities. You’ll lead the technical delivery of our most complex enterprise integrations, using lessons from frontline implementation work to identify recurring needs and work with Product and Engineering to turn agreed opportunities into reusable platform capabilities. Sitting at the intersection of customers, Engineering and Product, you’ll help inform the evolution of our integration and API capabilities and lead agreed features from solution design through delivery. You’ll also contribute to the practical application of AI and MCP across our technical products. It’s a role for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems, taking ownership of delivery and continually expanding what they can do.

Technical solutioning implementation (~60%):

  • Lead enterprise customer implementations across APIs, SSO, SFTP and other integration methods, from initial discovery and solution definition through to successful launch.
  • Act as the principal technical contact during implementations, leading kick-off meetings, progress calls and troubleshooting with customers and third parties.
  • Support technical pre-sales discussions by explaining Atominvest’s integration capabilities, assessing solution fit and identifying implementation constraints.
  • Design integration approaches using established product capabilities and technical patterns, partnering with Product and Engineering where new development is required.
  • Investigate complex API, SSO and SFTP issues using tools such as Postman, JSON payloads, configuration data and logs, escalating confirmed defects with clear supporting evidence.

Building the future of our technical products (~40%):

  • Work with the Senior Technical Product Manager to inform the integration and API roadmap, bringing insight from recurring customer needs and implementation experience.
  • Lead agreed integration features from requirements and solution design through testing and delivery, within the product direction set by the Technical Product Manager.
  • Identify recurring implementation challenges and work with Product and Engineering to turn them into reusable platform capabilities.
  • Contribute to the development of AI and MCP capabilities by identifying practical use cases, supporting prototyping and helping deliver agreed improvements.
  • Improve integration tooling, documentation and implementation patterns to reduce repeat work and make customer delivery more consistent and scalable.

What we’re looking for:

  • 4+ years’ relevant experience leading enterprise SaaS implementations, ideally within solutions engineering, technical consulting or integrations.
  • Strong practical technical ability across APIs, SSO, SFTP, data flows and system integrations, with the credibility to act as a trusted technical lead in customer conversations.
  • A solutioner at heart: someone energised by complex and sometimes ambiguous technical problems who can investigate them methodically and exercise good judgement about when to involve Product or Engineering.
  • A reusable-solutions mindset—you recognise patterns across implementations and work with Product and Engineering to turn recurring needs into scalable capabilities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills across technical, commercial and customer audiences.
  • Curiosity about emerging technologies and an appetite to develop practical knowledge of AI, MCP and modern integration approaches.
  • A proactive, accountable and collaborative approach, with the ability to lead delivery while working within the wider product and technical direction.

The process:

  • Meeting with our Product Managers to have a quick discussion, hear about you, talk about our story and where we’re heading and dig a bit deeper into your CV.
  • Complete a short case study and discuss it with members of our product engineering teams.
  • Meet with other Department Senior Team Members, including the Head of Product.

Join Atominvest. Candidates must have an unrestricted and permanent right to work in the UK. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship now or in the future.
