We specialise in creating innovative digital products that make a lasting impact. We’re currently seeking a driven and accomplished Senior Product Owner/ Consultant to join our team.

As a Senior Product Owner/ Consultant at Atomic, you’ll take clear accountability for delivery outcomes, working closely with client stakeholders who own the product vision and direction. Your role will be to guide and support delivery, ensuring that development teams are aligned, focused and delivering high‑quality results. You’ll act as a trusted adviser on execution, working with a range of stakeholders across our client organisations, from product experts through to senior leadership and board‑level stakeholders. You’ll provide clarity, challenge where needed and help shape realistic plans that enable successful delivery.

You’ll be responsible for defining and prioritising the product backlog to ensure that our digital products meet business objectives and deliver real value. You’ll work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams, including developers, designers and stakeholders, to ensure clarity, alignment and strong delivery. Your role will involve translating high‑level requirements into actionable user stories, managing scope effectively and ensuring the team is always focused on the most valuable outcomes. You’ll help manage risks, dependencies and delivery challenges, providing structure and direction while maintaining a collaborative team environment.

You should have a strong understanding of Agile delivery and be comfortable leading planning, refinement and day‑to‑day delivery activities. You’ll lead the development team, providing clarity and direction, while working closely with stakeholders to ensure we deliver against expectations. In this role, you’ll work on a variety of exciting digital products, each with its own challenges and opportunities. You’ll need to be pragmatic, organised and delivery‑focused, with the confidence to take ownership and guide teams to successful outcomes. In return you’ll enjoy loads of autonomy and the support of some of the best tech and design teams around.

  • Remote & hybrid working - This position can be largely remote but some time (probably one day per week) in our Nottingham office will be needed in order to be successful.
  • Flexible hours - Our contracted hours of work are Monday to Friday, 9am-5.30pm with 30 mins for lunch. But with agreement from your line manager, and subject to you working our core hours of 10am-4pm, you are free to vary your start and finish times.
