Senior Account Manager – Client Services | Digital Advertising
Location: Bristol/Hybrid | 3 days a week in our Bristol Central Office (BS1), 2 days per week WFH or office
Salary: c.£36k depending on experience
6‑monthly salary reviews and a structured path to Account Director within 18–24 months.

You’re already smashing it as an Account Manager – owning client comms, juggling projects and spotting upsell chances – but you want the extra title, autonomy and commercial responsibility that come with the next step. We’ll give you that opportunity while providing you with any training needed and a delivery team that handles all campaign optimisation for you.
About Us
We’re Atomic Leap, a tight knit Bristol‑based team of digital marketing experts. We’re making waves in the AI space which is starting to accelerate us beyond our typical 35% Year on Year growth. Science is at the heart of what we do, with a strong focus on getting results for clients. You’ll be a key member of the team, working from our central Bristol office at least 3 days per week, or more if you’d prefer.
What you’ll do
Important: You won’t be adjusting bids, making ads or tweaking audiences – our Performance team does that. Your value is relationships, strategy translation, project management and commercial growth.
· 40 % – Lead client relationships; run WIPs, monthly reviews and QBRs
· 20 % – Translate objectives into briefs for our PPC, SEO, Paid Social & Programmatic team
· 15 % – Project management – create SOWs, track hours, protect margin
· 15 % – Insight storytelling – synthesise channel reports into board‑ready decks (Data team builds Looker dashboards for you)
· 10 % – Upsell & new‑business support – identify gaps, help with pitch decks (Director‑level coaching on proposal writing)
Essential experience
· 2‑3 years in a digital or performance agency with day‑to‑day client ownership.
· Managed at least two paid‑media retainers > £5 k pcm each.
· Comfortable turning business goals into briefs and timelines.
· Confident presenter who can simplify data insights (GA4, Meta, Google Ads).
· Strong organisation: multiple projects, tight deadlines, no drama.
· Right to work in the UK and ability to work in central Bristol Tuesday to Thursday
Desirable extras
· Exposure to multi‑market or six‑figure annual budgets.
· Familiarity with Looker Studio dashboards or similar.
· IPA Foundation Certificate, CIM, or platform certifications.
· Contribution to thought‑leadership (blog, webinar, event panel).
Your 90‑day success plan
Day 30 – Fully onboarded on key accounts; Client satisfaction survey ≥ 8/10
Day 60 – Deliver first strategy refresh deck; Signed‑off media roadmap
Day 90 – Identify upsell opportunity & present to MD; Opportunity entered in pipeline
24‑month career runway
· Month 6: Pay review; target +£2 k if KPIs met.
· Month 12: 2nd Pay Review and bonus
· Month 18: Assessment for Account Director role.
