About the role

We’re a Bristol‑based digital agency looking for an SEM Executive who can contribute across SEO and PPC. Ideal for a graduate or ex‑apprentice with ~1 year’s agency experience who’s hands‑on with Google Ads and the SEO fundamentals - and keen to learn fast.

What you’ll do

  • SEO (≈50%) – keyword research, on‑page optimisation, content briefs, basic technical checks (crawl/indexation, page speed, internal linking, schema), local SEO tasks, and monthly reporting in Looker Studio/Sheets.
  • PPC (≈50%) – build and optimise Google Ads Search (and, where relevant, Microsoft Ads): keyword/copy testing, bid/budget pacing, search term mining/negatives, audience layering, and clear performance reporting.
  • Tracking & data – support clean GTM/GA4 setup, QA conversion tracking, and maintain tidy campaigns/dashboards.
  • Client & team – contribute to client calls, own tidy task boards, and collaborate with content/design/dev as needed.

What you’ll bring

  • ~1 year in a digital agency (placement, grad scheme, or apprenticeship welcomed).
  • SEO: Experience using tools for SEO benefit
  • PPC: Know how to use the Google ads UI to make campaign changes and optimisations
  • Right to work in the UK.

Salary, progression & 6‑month fast‑track review

  • Base: £26–£29k DOE.
  • Fast‑track review at 6 months with eligibility for an increase (up to £30k) based on meeting agreed milestones.
