Nurse / RMN – Hospital Acute at Birmingham B30 3LN

We are currently recruiting for motivated, experienced and enthusiastic individuals for full-time or part-time, permanent Nurses. We are looking to recruit a candidate that shares our vision of enhancing the lives of our residents and recognises that to achieve an outstanding service, our staff must be supported, nurtured and developed to reach their potential.

Examples of employment tasks:

• Ensure that comprehensive, individualised care plans are in place and are regularly reviewed and evaluated in accordance with the NMC guidelines and company policy;
• Assist and deal with emergencies and pre-planned treatment of patients;
• Manage own workload;
• Maintain ongoing assessment and review of all patients;
• Administer drugs and medicines;
• Apply surgical dressings and give other forms of treatment;
• Plan duty rotas and organise and direct the work and training;
• Advise on nursing care, disease prevention, nutrition, etc;
• Liaise with management and senior nurses to ensure effective communication for the benefit of the patients and their families;
• Plan, manage, provide and evaluate nursing care services for patients, supervise the implementation of nursing care plans.

Skills Required for the Role:

• Have obtained an NQF Level 6 (or equivalent Qualification);
• Have obtained an NMC Pin as an RGN, RMN or RNLD;
• Have prior experience as a Nurse;
• Have excellent communication skills;
• Have good team working skills;
• Have the required knowledge for the job role;
• Satisfactory enhanced DBS Check and where applicable a check against the DBS First List;
• Have the key skills to undertake the tasks which are listed above.
