This part-time, permanent position offers a fantastic work-life balance with no evenings or weekends required.
As an Assistant Chef at Kids 1st – Low Fell Nursery, you will play a crucial role in supporting the nursery chef with day-to-day activities, ranging from food preparation to cleaning duties.
Responsibilities
- Assist the nursery chef in preparing high-quality, nutritious meals and snacks for the children in line with food hygiene and safety regulations.
- Follow safe working practices for both children and staff, ensuring compliance with food hygiene and safety policies.
- Adhere to the company’s procedures concerning the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH).
- Maintain a positive and engaging atmosphere for the children, ensuring they have a fun and enjoyable dining experience.
- Collaborate with the nursery chef and other staff members to ensure the smooth operation of the nursery’s kitchen.
- Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 30 hours per week.
