About the Role: Our client, Atom Services Recruitment, is seeking a proactive and experienced Environmental Manager to join their team. As the Environmental Manager, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating the delivery of our client’s global environmental strategy, focusing on achieving carbon neutrality and net-zero objectives. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the delivery of the Environmental strategy, utilizing management software to monitor carbon reduction, financial investment, and savings
- Manage ESG data collection across Europe and work with territory environmental representatives
- Coordinate the production of the annual ESG Group Report, complying with Group requirements and providing regular updates
- Chair quarterly ESG Committee meetings, focusing on environmental performance
- Collaborate with the ESG Committee to articulate environmental performance and integrate it into the business
- Chair monthly environmental reviews with environmental representatives in each territory, driving change and reporting progress
- Stay updated on emerging environmental initiatives, standards, and regulations that may impact the business
- Provide technical support to other departments, including managing supplier ESG audits
- Assist in driving cultural change by promoting best practices through training and communication
- Responsible for SECR reporting for scope 1 and 2 emissions and leading scope 3 actions
- Work with the property team to develop design specifications for new buildings and refurbishments
- Collaborate with external advisors and the marketing team to provide environmental communications and updates
Key Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in an environmental management role and corporate ESG team
- Strong analytical and data skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, able to engage with diverse audiences and present recommendations
- Knowledge and prior use of ESG reporting and environmental management software
- Experience in structuring management reports with clear recommendations
