We’re supporting a global pharmaceutical organisation in hiring a Safety Physician to join their UK-based Drug Safety function. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role, working closely with more senior safety leadership to deliver key pharmacovigilance activities for assigned molecules. It’s a highly collaborative role, suited to a medically qualified physician with drug safety experience who thrives in a global matrix environment.
Responsibilities
- Supporting safety strategy and delivery across global development programs
- Authoring and reviewing safety documentation (e.g. RMPs, PBRERs, DSURs)
- Performing signal detection and safety data analysis
- Preparing responses to health authority questions
- Working cross-functionally with clinical, regulatory and medical teams
Requirements
- Experience in drug safety / pharmacovigilance within pharma or biotech
- Familiarity with safety deliverables and post-marketing or development activities
- Must be able to attend the company’s South East England office 2–3 days per week (hybrid)

Hybrid work arrangement; preference for presence in the South East England office 2–3 days per week.
