Our client is a fast-growing multi-sector speciality distributor of chemicals and raw materials to the UK Manufacturing Industry. They are now seeking a Warehouse Operator. This position is site-based in Redditch, Worcestershire and is a full-time permanent role. The role will generally operate standard working hours Monday to Friday (9:00am - 5:00pm). However, flexibility is important due to the operational needs of the business, and the successful candidate will need to be available between 6:00am and 10:00pm when required. This would be based on business needs rather than the normal working pattern reporting to the Warehouse Lead.
Job Purpose
Carry out day-to-day processing operations support within our client's Manufacturing and Warehouse Services concerning food and chemical processing, industrial powder packing/repacking, stock management and Health & Safety requirements. As required, support the other functions within the company. Work with Process Leads to ensure all processing requirements for our client's Manufacturing Services are met. Support Process Leads to develop the capabilities for the food and chemical processing and laboratory formulation activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing Warehouse and stock movements
- Ensure all packaging is available when needed
- Taking photos, scanning documents and emailing
- Facilitating stock audits
- Record and maintain BRC Work Instructions
- Re-ordering consumables
