Our client is a leading chemical distributor of Resins and associated products to the Adhesives, Sealants, Coatings and Construction markets. They are now seeking a Business Development Manager Chemicals. This position is a full-time permanent role reporting to the Commercial Director. Joining a small, proactive and fast-paced team. This position will be field/home based and location within the UK is flexible. The role will require regular contact and visits to customers in the UK as well as occasional visits to their offices.

Job Purpose

  • This role is technical as well as commercial, assisting the Sales Director, who is responsible for a wide array of products to clients across the UK and globally.
  • Growing the already successful business.
  • Looking at new customer sectors and principle development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and developing current customers, achieving budget for growth and profit.
  • Assisting customers with solution-based sales.
