Our client is a fast-growing multi-sector speciality distributor of chemicals and raw materials to the UK Manufacturing Industry. They are now seeking a Senior Management Accountant. This position is a hybrid role and will be part office based in Redditch, Worcestershire and part home based (3 Days in the office / 2 days at home). It is a full-time permanent role reporting to the Finance Manager.
Job Purpose
- Management of Company finances
- Management of Cash Flow & forecasting
- Management of HMRC obligations VAT, Duties
- Management of Budgeting Process
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Managing of the Budgeting Process
- Looking after and improve Working Capital Processes
- Perform Bank & Currency reconciliations
- Operational Manage foreign currency management
- Looking after all payment plans and execution
- Maintain and update cashflow forecast by currency
- Trend Analyses and Reporting
- Maintain relationships and work closely with the Business Services team
- Debtor, Purchasing and Stock management from a cash flow perspective
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong experience in a manufacturing or distribution organisation
- Demonstrable work experience in multiple accounting functions
- Able to develop effective relationships with work colleagues
- Experience of Oracle NetSuite (or equivalent)
- Practicing exponent of Microsoft Office software / Computer literate
- High standards and levels of accuracy, numeracy and literacy skills
In return, our client is offering a basic salary of £50,000 per annum plus benefits (salary is negotiable and dependent on experience).
