Our client is a fast-growing multi-sector speciality distributor of chemicals and raw materials to the UK Manufacturing Industry. They are now seeking a Process Lead Manufacturing. This position is site-based in Redditch, Worcestershire and is a full-time permanent role working on a shift basis (Monday to Friday, 8 hours a day between the hours of 6am to 10pm) reporting to the Manufacturing Manager.
Job Purpose
- Oversee the day-to-day manufacturing processing operations with respect to processing, stock management, health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment.
Goods Dispatch
- Arrange transport for finished goods including deliveries and collections.
- Liaising with customers and hauliers to arrange collections, deliveries and maintaining detailed records of these transactions in conjunction with BSC.
Health and Safety
- Ensuring correct handling of materials.
- Checking MSDS for hazardous information to relay to appropriate staff.
- Ensure excellent food safety standards are met at all times.
- Safe loading.
