Our Client is a fast-growing distributor of specialty ingredients and innovation services to the UK Personal Care and Cosmetic Ingredients markets. They are now seeking a driven Technical Sales Manager for their Personal Care Division. This position will be home-based. The geographical territory is the UK and Ireland with regular visits to customers and to the HQ office and laboratories. This position is a full-time permanent role and will report to the Division Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Achieve quarterly and annual sales & margin budgets for a range of defined specialty ingredients and innovation services at defined prices.
- Foster beneficial customer relationships through frequent visits and achieving service levels that demonstrate the Division values.
- Add sales information to Customer Relationship Management software.
- Develop key markets across Personal Care, Cosmetics & HI&I including Contract Manufacturers, Brands, and Formulators.
- Educated to BSc level or equivalent in a relevant technical/scientific discipline or equivalent industrial experience.
- Seasoned technical salesperson conversant in and knowledgeable of the UK Personal Care & Cosmetic Ingredients market and experienced with UK companies and customers.
- Able to fulfill customer purchasing requirements.
- Ability to create, maintain, and develop supplier relationships (desirable).
- Excellent communicator at all levels.
- Business acumen to attract and develop new manufacturers (desirable).
In return, our Client is offering a package including a competitive basic salary of £40,000 - £55,000 per annum (salary is negotiable and very dependent on experience. More may be available for an exceptional candidate) plus benefits which include an expensed company car, five weeks holiday, pension, healthcare, and a generous bonus scheme.
