They prioritize Employee Development, empowering teams to grow, innovate, and excel, which drives exceptional service and solutions for customers. The role is home-based within the UK, covering the UK and Ireland, reporting to the Business Manager. It is a full-time, permanent position.
Job Purpose
Create and maintain a profitable and sustainable Business Unit, achieving sales and margin targets. Develop long-term relationships with Key Customers and create compelling sales propositions. Develop and maintain supplier relationships for long-term positive contributions.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Sales
- Develop Key Accounts.
- Execute Sales & Marketing activities effectively.
- Develop markets in Coatings, Inks, Adhesives, and Resins.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers (reports, sales figures, market info, product development).
- Gather market intelligence.
- Ensure a robust supply chain (forecasting, stock management).
- Cultivate new supplier relationships.
Qualifications and Experience
- Technical education (BSc or equivalent industrial experience).
- Commercially astute, with knowledge of raw materials and formulations for Coatings, Inks, Adhesives & Resins sectors.
- Ability to develop product formulations and identify customer needs.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Business acumen for developing supplier partnerships.
