The role
We're on the lookout for a Junior Learning Designer to join Atom's Education team. As part of the Education team, you'll combine subject expertise with the power of AI to help reinvent GCSE and A-Level exam preparation and create engaging courses that help thousands of students excel across a range of key subjects. You'll play a vital role in designing high-quality resources that challenge and inspire students, supporting them to become curious, capable, and confident thinkers. This is not just another content-writing role: it's an opportunity to shape the future of learning.
What You Will Do
- Create educational resources across a range of exam subjects designed to motivate, stretch and challenge ambitious learners.
- Develop exceptional revision courses aligned with exam specifications.
- Master cutting-edge AI tools to create high-quality educational content at pace.
- Review and refine colleagues' work to ensure clarity, accuracy, and curriculum alignment.
Who you are
- Educated to degree level in mathematics or the natural sciences.
- Studied any two of the following at A-Level (or equivalent): Maths, Further Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics.
- Great at explaining tricky ideas in simple terms and passionate about making maths, science and technology feel achievable for all learners.
- Confident producing clear and engaging exam-focused content at pace.
- Curious and adaptable with the confidence to learn, experiment with and refine AI-enabled workflows.
Experience that would set you apart
- Recent experience tutoring or teaching A-Level Maths, Biology or Chemistry.
- A passion for Maths/Science communication and an understanding of what helps students succeed in assessments.
- Evidence of a real commitment to education through study, volunteering, or personal projects.
