What you’ll be doing:

  • Working closely with our Facilities Manager and Quality Manager to support the smooth day-to-day operation of our site.

  • Recording inspections and maintenance activity accurately to support compliance and asset tracking.
  • Responding to reactive maintenance requests and assisting with minor repairs under supervision.
  • Supporting contractor visits, ensuring work is carried out safely and in line with site requirements.
  • Assisting with basic building maintenance, equipment checks, and repairs.
  • Helping manage site supplies, consumables, and spare parts.
  • Supporting office moves, porterage, and general logistics.
  • Using a CAFM system (such as MAXIMO) to log and track maintenance tasks.
  • Promoting health, safety, and information security best practice at all times.
  • Supporting compliance records, supplier coordination, and cost information for maintenance works.

This role offers broad exposure to property maintenance, helping you develop technical skills, operational knowledge, and strong professional behaviours.

  • Online workshops and e-learning.
  • One-to-one tutor support.
  • Hands-on workplace training.
  • Off site training; practical skills are delivered over two days every quarter at the purpose-built Building Block construction training centres in Worcester.
