Your Role
As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), you will be part of our Testing team, responsible for building fully automated functional and non-functional tests using the latest frameworks and tools. You will drive testing efficiencies, embed automation into build pipelines, and advise on best practices to support our growth and technological excellence.
Responsibilities
- Advocate for test automation and shift-left testing practices
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated tests for features using modern frameworks
- Design testing approaches and perform exploratory testing as needed
- Support and maintain our automation lab and tools
- Contribute to the evolution of our Test Automation and NFT frameworks
- Gain domain knowledge of our technical landscape and systems
- Coach and advise team members on automation best practices
Requirements
- Extensive experience in an SDET or Test Automation role
- Hands-on experience with tools like Appium, Postman, Selenium, Jenkins, Gitlab
- Proficiency in creating automation code for various testing types
- Strong understanding of testing principles, methodologies, and tools including Jira
- Ability to query SQL and non-SQL databases
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience working within an Agile environment
- Passion for new technology and industry trends
- Experience testing web, GUI, and backend microservices
