We’re Atom… The bank that’s on a mission to make finance faster, simpler and way more human. We’ve ditched the stuffy banking model to build something that actually works for our customers, whenever and wherever they need us. To make this happen, we’re looking for like-minded people who can help us reach our goals and think differently. If you’re ready to build the future of banking, we’d love to meet you.

What will your typical day look like? Different that’s for sure… Sitting within our integrated Procurement & Operational Resilience team within Technology, you’ll work alongside a close-knit, high-performing team. You’ll spend your days combining hands-on governance ownership, like building MI reporting packs and maintaining continuity playbooks, with active collaboration across the Risk, Compliance, Tech, and Legal departments. Whether you’re helping First Line Service Relationship Managers navigate supplier risk, maintaining our crisis ‘battle box’, or identifying ways to automate and streamline our processes, you’ll be directly helping shift Atom from reactive compliance to a proactive operational resilience posture.

So, what will you be doing…

  • MI & Committee Reporting: Taking full ownership of collating, analysing, and producing combined Management Information (MI), TPRM metrics, and resilience committee packs using tools like Google Workspace, Jira, and Tableau.
  • Resilience Administration & QA: Conducting quality assurance on Business Impact Analysis (BIA) submissions, managing customer survey processes, and maintaining up-to-date crisis playbooks.
  • Crisis & Continuity Preparedness: Keeping our crisis management ‘battle box’ and Crisis Management Team (CMT) contact details strictly up to date, while supporting business continuity and IT Disaster Recovery (ITDR) processes.
  • TPRM & SRM Support: Guiding First Line Service Relationship Managers through third-party due diligence, ongoing risk assessments, supplier performance reviews, and training.
  • Scenario Testing: Facilitating operational resilience scenario testing to spot potential vulnerabilities and track remediation plans.
  • Process Automation & Continuous Improvement: Spotting opportunities to enhance data quality, streamline due diligence, and automate manual processes across our resilience frameworks.

What do we need from you…

  • Background or exposure in Financial Services, retail banking, building societies, or a similarly regulated environment.
  • A foundational understanding of UK regulatory expectations surrounding Operational Resilience and TPRM.
  • Proven capability to map, analyse, and document complex operational, technical, or business workflows.
  • Clear written and numerical capability to turn complex data into clear dashboards, reports, and committee presentations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build collaborative working relationships across diverse business functions.
  • A highly structured approach with strong attention to detail and data accuracy under time constraints.

What will you get from us?

  • Salary of £30k.
  • Flexible hybrid working in Newcastle.
  • 4-day work week.
  • Discretionary Cash Bonus – Individual and Company Performance based.
  • Incredibly generous company pension scheme (maximum of 13% of Atom input – you can put in more).
  • ‘All About Me’ fund: £200 per year to spend on personal development.
  • 22.5 days annual leave plus public holidays.
  • Private Medical Insurance, Health Cash Plan & Life Insurance.
  • Electric Vehicle Scheme.
