Our Business Analysis function is the crucial bridge between business and technology, tasked with translating complex requirements into tangible business and technical solutions. This Business Analyst role is aligned to a multi-disciplined team within our Savings value stream, specifically focusing on the development of new products. We’re setting up 2 teams to deliver products in parallel and this role is highly product and customer-centric, involving core BA activities such as requirement elicitation, process mapping, impact assessments & crafting user stories and acceptance criteria.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Strategic Problem Solving: Define, scope, and investigate business problems and opportunities, ensuring alignment with Atom's strategic pillars.
- End-to-End Change Ownership: Lead the entire lifecycle, from rigorous requirements gathering and process definition to full end-to-end traceability and implementation.
- Solution Design & Governance: Work closely with architecture to validate solution designs, facilitate process design, and ensure adherence to robust standards, policies, and frameworks.
- Agile Delivery: Drive decision-making within an Agile environment, contributing to the feature backlog and supporting efficient planning.
What do we need from you?
- Experience in a Business Analyst role, ideally within banking or a tech focussed company.
- Strong understanding and practical experience with Agile methodologies including Kanban.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport, influence stakeholders, and drive decision-making.
- A highly analytical, critical thinker, and natural problem-solver.
- Strong understanding of Business Analysis tools and best practices.
- Experience in producing impact assessments, user stories, acceptance criteria & processing mapping.
