A to E Training & Solutions is a national healthcare training provider delivering resuscitation and clinical skills education across NHS and independent healthcare organisations throughout England. We have a strong track record in developing clinicians into nationally accredited Resuscitation Officers. We have vacancies covering the South East, London, Midlands regions. We are recruiting an Assistant/Resuscitation Officer to join our clinical training team. This practical, hands‑on role is suited to clinicians with an acute background who want to build a career in education and resuscitation practice. You will deliver training across a range of healthcare settings while developing your clinical, educational and leadership capability within a structured and supportive environment. Those who already possess RCUK Advanced Instructor status may join the team as a Resuscitation Officer with development into specialist areas. With support and supervision, you will also undertake the role of a clinical member of resuscitation teams at contracted sites where appropriate and contribute to wider governance activity linked to resuscitation practice. The role requires flexibility, UK travel and occasional overnight stays. Delivery settings and deployment vary week to week depending on operational need.
Main duties of the job:
- Deliver and support resuscitation and clinical skills training across a range of healthcare settings and assist with the delivery of nationally accredited resuscitation programmes.
- Participate in resuscitation attempts and emergency response under supervision where required.
- Support audit, policy development and governance work related to resuscitation.
- Maintain clinical credibility through ongoing professional development.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams across varied environments and contribute to safe and effective clinical practice.
About you (Requirements):
- Current professional registration (NMC, HCPC, GMC or GDC) and an acute clinical background (e.g., nursing, paramedic or emergency care) with recent relevant experience.
- Confident communicating with a range of staff groups and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- An interest in developing as a clinical educator is essential.
- Experience delivering or supporting skills‑based training would be helpful but is not required.
