A to E Training and Solutions is the largest provider of resuscitation training in the UK, delivering services to NHS Trusts, Independent / Private Healthcare Providers, Prison Services, and Higher Education Institutions.
We are looking to recruit Assistant Resuscitation Officers across the UK to support the provision of resuscitation training and services. Working as part of a regional team, you will partner with our clients to deliver high-quality training, clinical leadership, and governance services.
The successful candidate will require demonstrable clinical experience in an acute / critical care setting. You may be a Registered Nurse, ODP, or Paramedic and have experience of delivering resuscitation / clinical skills training.
Regional travel is a key component of the role and a current driving licence is pre-requisite. Given travel requirements, we attempt to maintain a good balance across the team and flexibility is encouraged both from the business and staff
Main duties of the job
Participate in delivering training programmes in critical care, resuscitation practiceand first aid.
With support and supervision, undertake the role of a clinical member of theresuscitation team at contracted sites where agreed.
With support and supervision, provide professional advice on resuscitation attempts,policy development, training, clinical governance issues, resuscitation techniquesand equipment relating to resuscitation.
To maintain and develop links, both locally and nationally, that develop the company\’s profile and promote the delivery of resuscitation care and training.

Job responsibilities
Participate in designing and delivering high-quality training programmes in critical care, resuscitation practice and first aid.
With support and supervision, act as a clinical member of the resuscitation team at contracted sites, providing expertise and clinical leadership to facilitate evidenced based care and outcomes.
With support and supervision, provide professional advice on resuscitation attempts, policy development, training, clinical governance issues, resuscitation techniques and equipment relating to resuscitation.
To maintain and develop links, both locally and nationally, that develop the company\’s profile and promote the delivery of resuscitation care and training.
Support the delivery of projects and/or research activities undertaken by the company.
To provide clients with the highest possible level of specific training and education in resuscitation, as per national recommendations and company standards.
Maintain and develop clinical skills, credibility and expertise, including undertakingtraining programmes to increase or achieve instructor status.
Be accountable for practice and take every reasonable opportunity to sustain andimprove knowledge and professional competence.
Person Specification
Experience
- Relevant experience working in critical care/clinical emergencies.
- Experience working as a facilitator with multi-professional groups.
- Recent relevant experience of working at Band 6.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse / ODP / Paramedic.
- Clinical qualification and instructor status in one (or more) RCUK/ALSG/ERC National Course discipline: ALS, NLS, EPALS, and or APLS.
- Teaching/Assessing Qualification.
