We are seeking a dynamic, skilled and flexible Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team. We are a well-established independent Mechanical services company working in high end office fit outs in the city and ensure the optimal performance, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems across various facilities in and around London/M25. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical expertise, leadership skills, and to deliver high-quality climate control solutions. As an integral part of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues, executing repairs, and maintenance.
Responsibilities and Expectations:
- F Gas 2079 certificate is essential and CSCS card.
- Full UK driving license and proximity to travel into the City of London or surrounding areas on a daily basis.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on air conditioning units and related HVAC equipment to ensure efficient operation.
- Diagnose mechanical faults using schematics and technical manuals, then execute repairs promptly to minimize downtime.
- Must be able to comprehensively fill out and return commissioning, job sheets, reports etc. and send them to the office via our app.
- Oversee equipment repair processes, ensuring all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Proven experience working with air conditioning systems, HVAC equipment, or related mechanical systems in construction or maintenance settings.
- Good solid knowledge of installation of split/multi/VRV Air conditioning systems and minimum 3 years industry experience.
- Hands-on experience in equipment repair, troubleshooting complex HVAC issues efficiently.
- Ability to work well within a team and on your own with a 'Can do' flexible and adaptable attitude for a potentially varied role.
- Customer focused with the ability to converse directly with our clients in a knowledgeable and friendly manner.
- Familiarity with construction processes related to HVAC system installation or upgrades is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices within the maintenance or construction industry is essential.
