Position Summary
Full‑time. Location: Craig, Colorado. CDL‑A preferred. Relocation assistance may be considered. Benefits eligibility on day of hire. Hourly pay: $26.50 – $41.50. Service/Construction: $26.50 – $34.00. Distribution Operator: $38.75 – $41.50.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic, routine work using prescribed procedures, seeking guidance for deviations.
- Assist in the installation and maintenance of natural gas lines, meters, regulators.
- Assist in conducting leakage surveys.
- Complete and maintain accurate records and reports to comply with company and regulatory requirements.
- May be required to hold stand‑by duty, work shifts, holidays, weekends, emergency call‑outs, occasional extended hours.
- Report outside regular work area when needed.
- Identify, address, and report safety and encroachment issues to completion.
- Operate and inspect assigned company vehicles and equipment safely.
- Support and adhere to company values, policies, and the safety manual; complete required safety training.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; valid driver's license.
- Experience: General structured training per the Construction Learning Path; obtain and maintain operator qualifications and required certifications.
- Computer skills: use company intranet for data entry, retrieval tasks.
- Communication skills: communicate with internal and external customers to exchange factual information.
Work Conditions
- Outdoor work in all weather, potential exposure to extreme weather, noise, rough terrain, ladders, roofs, attics, confined spaces; overnight travel may be required.
Physical Demands
- Lift and carry up to 88 lb, perform pulling forces, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, crouch; acute sight and hearing; strong sense of smell.

- Safety‑Sensitive position. Pre‑and post‑employment screenings, including drug testing, background checks, motor vehicle record checks per DOT and PHMSA regulations.
