We’re looking for an Atlassian Systems Engineer to design, configure, and integrate solutions that bring our enterprise “System of Work” to life. In this role, you’ll design and implement solutions using the Atlassian cloud platform as the foundation to help teams plan, deliver, and collaborate more effectively. You’ll work closely with customers, partnering with product and engineering teams to turn complex requirements into elegant, well‑designed solutions that improve how work flows across the organization. For this role, we invite you to work from our office in Grove – up to three days per week.
Responsibilities
- System design and configuration: Design, build, and maintain solutions across Atlassian products to support enterprise workflows. Translate business and user requirements into scalable system configurations, automations, and dashboards. Develop and maintain system architecture documentation, blueprints, and standards.
- Integration and automation: Integrate Atlassian tools with other enterprise platforms (e.g., M365, ServiceNow, GitHub, Slack, CI/CD pipelines). Build and maintain automation using native tools, APIs, and scripts (Python, PowerShell, REST, etc.).
- Collaboration and stakeholder engagement: Work closely with product owners, project managers, and technical leads to shape system requirements. Provide expert guidance on Atlassian capabilities, best practices, and governance. Communicate complex technical ideas in clear, accessible language for non‑technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Proven experience administering and configuring Atlassian products (Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Bitbucket).
- Strong understanding of workflows, custom fields, permissions, and automation rules.
- Experience integrating Atlassian with external tools and platforms using APIs and scripts.
- Familiarity with enterprise IT environments, identity management, and change control.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to think in systems and balance technical precision with user experience.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of DevOps toolchains, CI/CD practices, or developer experience platforms.
- Familiarity with AI‑enabled workflow automation or knowledge management solutions.
- Background in large‑scale digital transformation or enterprise collaboration programs.
