What we value at DX
Companies have all kinds of culture slides. At DX, we want to be very clear about what we care about and how we judge performance. For us, it all boils down to individual mastery, becoming the best at your craft. Those who exhibit this quality will thrive here and be unduly rewarded. We can’t control outcomes due to competitors, the economy, decision-makers, etc., but what we can control is doing our jobs at the highest level possible.
Working at Atlassian
Atlassians can choose where they work – whether in an office, from home, or a combination of the two. That way, Atlassians have more control over supporting their family, personal goals, and other priorities. We can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity.
The role
The Regional Marketing Manager is the primary marketing owner for DX in EMEA — responsible for turning account-level intelligence into programs that move executive relationships and pipeline forward. This isn't an event coordinator or a campaign executor. It's a strategic marketing partner to the field: someone who knows the accounts, understands where each one sits in their journey, and orchestrates the right mix of programs to drive measurable impact.
Responsibilities
- Account engagement
- Maintain a working view of target accounts in the region — who's in them, what campaigns have reached them, and where they sit in the pipeline.
- Build and track account engagement plans in partnership with AEs, ensuring every account has a tailored program mix aligned to their stage and buying signals.
- Translate account plans into action: executive roundtables, CxO dinners, VIP event activations, partner-led plays, direct mail, personalized digital campaigns, and 1:1 ABM motions.
- Identify the right contacts at target accounts and ensure they're being reached with relevant content — not just the right company, but the right people.
- Executive programs
- Run use-case-led executive programs (roundtables, CxO dinners, invitation-only events) that bring the AI transformation story to senior decision makers in the region.
- Anchor every executive touchpoint in a specific hero use case — not generic AI demos, but outcomes that resonate for the account's industry and buying context.
- Build executive awareness and relationships at accounts where Atlassian's brand recognition among C-suite leaders is still low.
- Tentpole & field activation
- Design and run regional ancillary programming around global moments (TEAM, Team on Tour) — side events, dinners, and activations that convert global brand presence into territory-specific pipeline opportunities.
- Equip AEs and partners with follow-up resources that extend the impact of every event.
- Regional content & programs
- Host regional webinars featuring Field CTOs, researchers, or subject matter experts — content calibrated to the EMEA timezone, audience, and business context.
- Partner with Demand Gen to promote those programs locally and drive the right attendees.
- Review existing ads, emails, and campaign assets alongside Demand Gen and adapt for regional language, cultural preferences, and market nuances.
- Identify gaps in case studies, product marketing, and website content that are limiting regional resonance — and actively push for those gaps to be filled by the relevant teams.
- Feedback loop into marketing
- Serve as the voice of EMEA inside the broader marketing org — synthesizing what you're hearing from customers, AEs, and partners and bringing that intelligence back to PMM, Demand Gen, and Campaigns.
- Ensure global programs reflect what's actually happening in the region, not just what looks good in a dashboard.
Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. We follow consistent hiring practices and account for each candidate's skills, knowledge, and experience when setting base pay within the range. This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
Qualifications
Who you are
- You've run field or regional marketing in a B2B enterprise context — ideally for a SaaS or developer tools company.
- You think in accounts, not just audiences — you're comfortable working from a list of named accounts and building plans around specific people and companies.
- You're a strong collaborator who can work across sales, demand gen, product marketing, and partner teams without needing to own everything.
- You know how to run executive programs — not just logistics, but the positioning, agenda design, and follow-through that makes them land.
- You're comfortable giving feedback on messaging and content, and have enough market knowledge to push back when something won't resonate in your region.
