Whilst previous experience of working in housekeeping in hotels would be useful, it’s not essential. So what does a Housekeeping Supervisor do?
- Deliver a great guest experience through providing a high standard of cleaning throughout the hotel.
- Monitor and supervise the work of Housekeeping Assistants as and when required, in absence of the Head Housekeeper.
- Communicate the daily tasks and priorities to Housekeeping Assistants at the request of the Head Housekeeper and in line with Company processes.

- Be an active and effective team member, working together to achieve hotel goals.
- Monitoring any issues with rooms to other members of the team (eg Maintenance) as soon as possible.
- Ensuring Housekeeping Assistants receive full training for their roles and managing any issues through coaching and performance management.
- Maintaining cleanliness, hygiene and Atlas standards in both public and private areas, taking pride in the hotel and its team.
- Effectively manage complaints using our ‘service recovery’ principles.
