Make an Impact Where It Matters Most
Atlas Workplace Services is looking for a high-calibre Senior QSHE Manager to help shape and deliver our national QSHE strategy. This is a senior leadership position working closely with the QSHE Director, where you’ll influence how we approach safety, quality, environmental performance, ESG, and wellbeing across a complex, multi-site FM portfolio. If you’re passionate about driving cultural change, using data to improve performance, and embedding best practice at scale—this role offers real impact.
The Role
- Leadership & Influence
- Act as a trusted deputy to the QSHE Director, supporting key decisions and escalation points
- Influence stakeholders at all levels, embedding a strong QSHE and ESG culture
- Support and guide QSHE Managers and Advisors across the business
- Programme Delivery
- Lead and support national initiatives including:
- Sustainability & ESG programmes
- Behavioural safety improvements
- Wellbeing and human performance initiatives
- Align QSHE priorities with wider business and client objectives
- Support and enhance the audit and compliance framework
- Ensure management systems remain compliant with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001
- Drive consistency and best practice across all contracts
- Deliver clear, insight-driven reporting across QSHE and ESG metrics
- Analyse trends from audits, incidents, CAFM data, and performance systems
- Recommend and implement improvement actions across the portfolio
- Advise operational teams on risk, compliance, and best practice
- Support development of risk assessments, method statements, and safe systems of work
- Investigate incidents, focusing on root causes, human factors, and behavioural influences
About You
- Qualifications
- NEBOSH General Certificate (essential, with 3+ years PQE)
- NEBOSH Diploma (Level 6) (desirable)
- ISO Lead/Internal Auditor (9001, 14001, 45001)
- Legionella qualification (City & Guilds or equivalent)
- Experience & Skills
- Strong background in FM, M&E, or multi-site service delivery
- Experience implementing and managing QSHE systems and audits
- Excellent knowledge of UK H&S and environmental legislation
- Proven ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders
- Strong analytical and reporting capability (Excel, data interpretation)
- Professional, solutions-focused approach with a collaborative mindset
